Chicken kyiv recipe

Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 100 g butter
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley
- 1 tbsp fresh dill
- 2 garlic
- 100 g flour
- 2 eggs
- 150 g breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 500 ml oil
How to make Chicken kyiv
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, combine 100 g of softened butter with 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley, 2 tablespoons of dill, and 2 minced garlic cloves.
- Pound each of the 4 chicken breasts until they are thin. Place a tablespoon of herb butter inside each chicken breast.
- Fold the chicken around the butter and seal the edges tightly to prevent leakage.
- Coat each chicken piece with 100 g of flour, ensuring an even layer on all sides.
- Dip the floured chicken into 2 beaten eggs for a thorough coating.
- Roll the egg-coated chicken in 150 g of breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- In a pan, heat 3 tablespoons of oil over medium heat. Fry each chicken piece for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown on both sides.
- Transfer the fried chicken to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until fully cooked.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. Plate and serve hot.
