Ingredients
- 400 g fresh tuna
- 200 ml coconut milk
- 2 limes
- 1 red onion
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 cucumber
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
How to make Tuna kokoda
- Dice 400 g of fresh tuna into small cubes about 1 cm in size.
- In a bowl, combine the diced tuna with 200 ml of coconut milk.
- Juice 2 limes and add the juice to the bowl, along with 1 teaspoon of salt.
- Sprinkle in 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper and mix well to combine.
- Finely chop 1 red onion and add it to the bowl with the tuna.
- Chop 1 tomato and 1 cucumber, then add them to the bowl.
- Gently mix all ingredients together to combine well.
- Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the fridge for 15 minutes.
- Serve the tuna salad chilled in bowls, garnished with lime wedges.
