  1. Finely chop 1 onion and 30 g of parsley on a cutting board until minced.
  2. In a bowl, mix 500 g of ground beef with the chopped onion, parsley, cumin, cinnamon, salt, and pepper thoroughly.
  3. Shape the mixture into oval patties that are about 2 cm thick and set aside on a plate.
  4. Heat 30 ml of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering but not smoking.
  5. Carefully place the kafta patties in the skillet, cooking for 5-7 minutes on each side.
  6. Check for doneness; they should be browned and cooked through.
