How to make Cook-up rice

  1. Rinse 400 g of rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then drain it well.
  2. Chop 1 onion, 1 bell pepper, and 1 carrot into small pieces before starting.
  3. In a large pot, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium heat.
  4. Sauté the chopped onion, bell pepper, and carrot until softened, about 5 minutes.
  5. Add 2 minced garlic cloves and 500 g of chicken pieces, cooking until browned, about 8 minutes.
  6. Stir in the rinsed rice, 1 teaspoon of thyme, 400 ml of coconut milk, and 600 ml of water.
  7. Season with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of black pepper, mixing well.
  8. Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to low.
  9. Cover the pot and simmer for 25-30 minutes until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
  10. Fluff the rice with a fork to separate the grains before serving hot.
