How to make Domoda

  1. In a large pot, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Add 1 chopped onion and sauté until it becomes translucent, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add 4 chicken thighs to the pot, browning them on all sides for about 6-8 minutes, flipping them as needed.
  4. Stir in 2 chopped tomatoes, mixing well with the chicken and onion for 2 minutes.
  5. Incorporate 200 g of peanut butter into the pot, stirring until well combined with the other ingredients.
  6. Pour in 1 liter of water and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  7. Add 1 diced carrot and 1 diced sweet potato, along with salt and black pepper to taste.
  8. Cover the pot and cook for 30 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and vegetables are fork-tender.
  9. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving hot with rice or bread.
