Khorovats recipe

Ingredients
- 800 g pork shoulder
- 2 onions
- 2 bell peppers
- 60 ml olive oil
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 4 garlic
- 1 lemon
How to make Khorovats
- Cut 1 kg of pork shoulder into 2-inch cubes and place them in a large mixing bowl.
- Finely chop 1 onion and 4 garlic cloves, adding them to the bowl with the pork.
- Stir in 3 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 teaspoons of salt, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, 1 tablespoon of paprika, and the juice of 1 lemon. Mix until well combined.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to develop flavors.
- Skewer the marinated pork cubes alternately with pieces of bell pepper onto grilling skewers.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat while you prepare the skewers.
- Grill the skewers for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pork is cooked through and slightly charred.
- Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
