  8. Spread the corn mixture evenly on top of the layers, smoothing it out with a spatula.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbling.
  10. Let the dish cool for a few minutes before serving to allow the layers to set.
