Biltong recipe

Ingredients
- 1000 g beef sirloin
- 40 g salt
- 10 g black pepper
- 15 g coriander seeds
- 50 ml vinegar
- 5 g paprika
How to make Biltong
- Cut 1 kg of beef sirloin into strips, about 1 cm thick, for easier drying.
- In a bowl, combine 40 g of salt, 10 g of black pepper, 15 g of crushed coriander seeds, and 5 g of paprika.
- Rub the spice mixture onto the beef strips, ensuring each side is well coated.
- Drizzle 50 ml of vinegar over the beef, making sure all strips are moistened, then cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.
- After marinating, hang the beef strips in a cool, dry place.
- Allow the beef to air-dry for 3 to 7 days, depending on your preferred dryness.
- Once dried, slice the biltong thinly with a sharp knife.
- Serve as a savory snack to enjoy.
