Ingredients
- 500 g minced beef
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- 100 g peas
- 250 ml beef broth
- 400 g puff pastry
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
How to make Meat pie
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F) and set a pie dish aside.
- In a large frying pan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
- Sauté 1 chopped onion and 1 diced carrot in the hot oil until they are soft, about 5 minutes.

- Line the pie dish with puff pastry, pressing it into the corners.
- Fill the pie dish with the meat mixture, then cover with another layer of pastry.
- Brush the top with a beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the pie is golden brown and flaky.
