Biltong recipe

Ingredients
- 800 g beef fillet
- 40 g coarse salt
- 10 g black pepper
- 15 g coriander seeds
- 50 ml vinegar
- 10 g brown sugar
How to make Biltong
- Cut the beef fillet into strips about 1 cm thick.
- In a bowl, mix 40 g of coarse salt, 10 g of black pepper, 15 g of crushed coriander seeds, and 10 g of brown sugar.
- Generously rub the spice mixture onto all sides of the beef strips until well coated.
- Drizzle 50 ml of vinegar over the beef, coating them evenly, then let it marinate for 1 hour at room temperature.
- Hang the marinated beef strips in a cool, dry place for 2 to 3 days until firm and dry to the touch.
- Once dried, slice the biltong thinly against the grain before serving.
