How to make Tsuivan

  1. In a bowl, mix 500 g of flour and 200 ml of water to create a dough.
  2. Cover the bowl and let the dough rest for 30 minutes at room temperature for better texture.
  3. Roll the rested dough out on a floured surface into thin sheets about 1 mm thick.
  4. Cut the sheets into thin strips about 1 cm wide to form noodles.
  5. Heat a large pan over medium heat and add 1 chopped onion, sautéing until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  6. Add 400 g of sliced beef to the pan and cook until browned, approximately 7-8 minutes.
  7. Stir in 1 sliced carrot and 200 g of chopped cabbage, cooking for another 3-4 minutes.
  8. Pour in 2 tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tsp of salt, and 1/1 tsp of pepper, mixing well to combine flavors.
  9. Add the cut noodles to the pan, stirring occasionally until the noodles are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  10. Serve the Tsuivan hot by placing it in bowls.
